Direct cost answer
How much does 3D product rendering cost?
3D product rendering with Render Roll costs from USD 115 per SKU on Starter, USD 195 per SKU on Growth and USD 145 per SKU on Bulk. These are indicative international from-prices. Starter covers up to 25 SKUs with three images each. Growth covers up to 150 SKUs with six images each, while Bulk is for 150 or more SKUs with phased delivery. A usable CAD or 3D model is required for every base product. When modelling is needed, it is quoted separately at USD 190 for simple, USD 380 for standard, or from USD 760 for complex work per model. We validate representative files and confirm the exact scope before payment.

Worked examples
What a catalogue costs, with the sums shown.
These international examples turn the published per-SKU rates into catalogue totals, before tax. They are worked examples, not quotations. A price becomes binding only after we review representative files and confirm the scope in writing.
- 25 base SKUs on Starter: USD 2,875. The rate is USD 115 per approved base SKU and includes three images per SKU, giving 75 product images.
- 60 base SKUs on Growth: USD 11,700. The rate is USD 195 per approved base SKU and includes six images per SKU, giving 360 product images.
- 60 Growth SKUs, with 12 standard models required: USD 16,260. Standard modelling is separate from rendering. At USD 380 per model, the 12 models add USD 4,560 to the example.
All figures exclude VAT and any other tax that applies at the billing location. Reference prices for the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and Australia, with the same worked examples in pounds, are on the markets and currencies page.
Scope
What the per-SKU rate includes, and what costs extra.
Included in the package rate
- Three images per SKU on Starter, six on Growth and Bulk.
- White or transparent PNG backgrounds, with soft-shadow studio backgrounds on Growth and Bulk.
- One structured revision round on Starter and two rounds on Growth.
- Channel-ready sizes for Amazon, Shopify and eBay on Growth and Bulk.
- Batch review on Growth, and batch quality control plus a named production contact on Bulk.
Quoted or priced separately
- 3D modelling, when no usable CAD or 3D model exists.
- Extra angles or scope changes beyond the package allowance.
- Lifestyle and campaign-style context images, by custom quote.
- Full animation, scoped as a custom quote rather than a package add-on.
- VAT and any other tax that applies at the billing location.
Separate modelling
No usable model means a separate modelling quote.
Drawings, photographs and dimensions can start the review, but they do not replace production-ready geometry. Modelling excludes rendering and is confirmed after references are checked.

Bulk pricing
Bulk product rendering for 150 or more SKUs.
Bulk is the package for large and seasonal ranges. It starts from USD 145 per SKU for 150 or more SKUs, on a volume rate with phased delivery, batch quality control and a named production contact. The same approved image standard applies as on every other package.
If your range is larger or more varied than a package fits, or you add products every month, request a custom quote. Ongoing catalogue production is priced by enquiry. You can also compare all four packages side by side.
Scope drivers
What changes the exact quote?
These are the variables we confirm before a price becomes payable.
Catalogue and outputs
SKU count, images per SKU, variants, backgrounds, crops and channel sizes set the production volume.
Files and complexity
Usable CAD or 3D, geometry condition, materials, labels and product complexity determine preparation work.
Delivery pattern
Single, structured or phased batches affect review, quality control and scheduling.
Keeping cost down
How to keep your product rendering cost down.
- Start from a usable model. The rendering rate assumes approved CAD or a usable 3D model, and modelling is the separate line. Check the accepted CAD and 3D file types before you send anything.
- Pick the package that matches your catalogue size. The rate is set per SKU by package, and the Bulk rate can sit below Growth because the production pattern supports a volume rate.
- Keep to the standard image set. The package allowance covers three or six images per SKU on one approved standard. Extra angles or scope changes are priced separately.
- Estimate before you ask. The pack builder returns a scope, an indicative range and a next step from your SKU count, images and files.
